Our Pharmacists


Lee-Ann Ritchie graduated from Woodstock High School in 1995. In May of 2000 she received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Dalhousie University. Lee-Ann joined Newnham & Slipp as a Pharmacist in 2000, and became Pharmacy Manager in 2003.  Lee-Ann served on the Board of Directors for the New Brunswick Pharmacists Association from 2010-2014. Lee-Ann purchased the business from Barb Kierstead, her mother, in March 2015.













Barbara Kierstead was owner from 1985 until 2015. She graduated from College of Pharmacy, Dalhousie University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Barb served as the first female president of both the Woodstock Rotary Club (96-97) and the New Brunswick Pharmacists Association (96-98). She was named Female Entrepreneur of the Year by Enterprise Carleton in 1993.

In 2000, Barb was awarded the Whitehall-Robins Bowl of Hygeia, recognizing ourstanding achievements in community service by pharmacy professionals. In 2006, she was named one of the 150 People Who Made a Difference in the Town of Woodstock.

Barb sold the business to her daughter, Lee-Ann in March 2015, but will continue to work part-time.







Kelly Dickinson graduated from Souris Regional High School in Souris, PEI in 1981, and for two years studied Biology at both UNB and Dalhousie University in Halifax.   In 1983, she began her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at Dalhousie and graduated May 1987. She joined Newnham & Slipp Pharmacy in 1987.
Kelly recently became certified to administer injections, and is available to administer vaccines and some other injectable medications by appointment.














Heather Jones graduated from Woodstock High School in 1988 and earned a Bachelor of Education Degree from UNB in 1992. In 1993, she began her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at Dalhousie University and graduated May 1997.  Heather joined the staff at Newnham & Slipp Pharmacy in 1997.
